- [ bridge, humour ]
-
- This is a collection of humourous stories set in an imaginary rubber bridge
- club in London, built around interesting bridge hands. The hands are cute,
- the stories are funny and the characters are memorable (The Hideous Hog and
- the Rueful Rabbit are now a part of bridge lore). One of the most famous
- bridge books ever written, this should certainly be enjoyed by any bridge
- player with a sense of humour - I've read it three times now.
-
- Prerequisites: understanding of simple bridge play techniques: throw-ins,
- simple squeezes, etc.
